Spetchley Gardens

Last Friday, we went to Spetchley Gardens in Worcestershire. Although the rain fell intermittently, it did not hide the fact that the gardens are a thing of beauty.

They had it all. Variety. A Lake. An Old House. A Horse Pond. Flowers. Plants. Wooden Framed Buildings That Needed Paint. Peace.

BBC History Timelines is a beautifully designed website. It looks good and is very easy to use.
Periods of history are colour coded and clearly visible. A mouse hover brings up key events on key dates.
Information is concise.
It is an absolute joy to use.
