I think that my first post should be an acknowlement of the Time article.
2006 could be an important year. Every year is in its own way.
The last few years has seen globalisation sideline the individual and minimise our influence. The Time article acknowledges that we are trying to redress the balance.
We want the equilibrium restored. We want to participate.
We feel that we cannot influence our destiny. We abdicate responsibility.
But maybe, the web is beginning to allow people to participate. It is allowing us to express ourselves and giving us all the possibility that some of our thoughts may be read by someone somewhere.
Expression from the ground up. Anyone can contribute. Some may even get heard.
